Bock Energietechnik GmbH was founded in 1984 in Floß and is today a cross-industry full-service provider for electric heating systems as well as machine and plant engineering. Its focus is the development and manufacture of supplementary heating systems for melting furnaces and fully electric melting units, particularly for the glass industry. In addition, the company implements special electroheat applications in other industrial sectors such as metal and ceramics. A second pillar is machine and plant engineering: Bock Energietechnik develops and manufactures machines for the periphery of its own systems as well as handling and production machines, including for cable assembly in vehicle electrics, and works in general special machine engineering. Its services include electrical design, manufacturing, welding and assembly at the Floß site in the Upper Palatinate. The company has over 40 years of experience in electric melting and glass processing.
