Böhme AG is a Swiss manufacturer of paint and varnish systems for wood finishing. Founded in 1866 under the name Hausmann & Co and headquartered in Liebefeld, the company is one of the oldest businesses of its kind in Switzerland and is today run as a family-owned SME in its third generation by Dr. Chantal Donders. The product range comprises wood treatment and coating products for interior and exterior applications, including LignoStain, SunCare 900, OmbriStain, PerlColor, SunCare 800, SunCare JetMatt Plus, JetFinish and NordicStain. A special range is geared towards sustainable and energy-efficient construction projects according to Minergie and Eco Bau. The products are used in construction and renovation projects as well as in wood coating. The subsidiary Böhme Romandie is responsible for French-speaking Switzerland and has been led by Alain Mischler since 2022. The company operates in German and French and supplies Switzerland.
