System solutions for the elevator industry
Schmersal Böhnke+Partner develops, designs and manufactures components, control systems and remote diagnostics systems for the global elevator industry in Bergisch Gladbach. The product portfolio includes elevator control systems such as bp408, bp408Touch and bp308, the modular modernization system SMARTline, the destination call system bpTARGET as well as switching devices such as door locks, door contacts, magnetic switches, position switches and safety relay modules. The control systems are mounted and wired on round plates, and each unit is fully tested with simulation software before being installed in the control cabinet. Software and firmware development is carried out in-house, including the remote diagnostics software WinMOS®300, the cloud solution Lift2CLOUD® and the digitalization solution EYELEVATE. Since 2012, the company has been part of the Schmersal Group and is represented through its sales network in around 60 countries; local production support is offered there via Schmersal manufacturing sites in India, China and Brazil. Customers include manufacturers of elevators and escalators as well as operators of construction hoists, platform lifts and elevators in wind turbines.
