About Boekels Maschinenbau
Boekels Maschinenbau GmbH is a family-owned, medium-sized company based in Brüggen in the district of Viersen, specialising in development services and special-purpose machinery construction. The development team consists at its core of three graduate engineers from RWTH Aachen and supports customers with the conception, development, design, manufacture and commissioning of technically complex custom solutions. The focus is on the development of fixtures and machines – from mechanics through drives and control technology to sensor technology. In addition to the development office with attached assembly, the company works with a network of suppliers and specialists to cover the entire value chain. Depending on customer requirements, developed machines are manufactured in-house or delivered as production-ready drawings. Industry experience ranges from aerospace, automation and energy technology to textile machinery and on to agricultural, safety and plastics engineering.

Design Methods and Manufacturing Processes
Autodesk Inventor
Modern CAD tools from the Autodesk Inventor series, backward-compatible down to version 5.1 (2001), with Autodesk Vault for product data management.
Simulation and Collision Analysis
Motion simulations and collision analyses shorten or replace trial and test phases.
Design-to-Cost
Systematic optimisation of product costs through functionally integrated construction, standardised parts and production-oriented design (including laser cutting, CNC machining).
Functional Analysis
Systematic development approach for opening up solution spaces even in restrictive patent situations.
3D Printing and CNC Manufacturing
Use of state-of-the-art technologies for producing high-quality prototypes.
