About Boenicke Audio
Boenicke Audio was founded in 1999 by Sven Boenicke and manufactures high-quality loudspeakers, electronics and cables in Basel. A key focus is the production of solid wood enclosures machined on a CNC milling machine; the enclosures are deliberately not designed as resonance bodies but built to be as massive and non-resonant as possible. The surfaces of the wood enclosures are finished in-house, among other things with an oil-wax coating; assembly, quality control and shipping also take place in-house. The product range comprises the W5 to W22 loudspeaker series, the p1 and aio electronics modules, cables of the S, IC and M series, and accessories. According to the company, it grows slowly and organically with a focus on product quality; all products bear the founder's acoustic signature.
