Bohemia Cristal Handelsgesellschaft mbH, based in Selb (Bavaria), was founded in 1975 as a trading company for Bohemian glass and today ranks among the leading glass trading companies in Europe. The company distributes mouth-blown and automatically produced drinking glasses and gift items made of crystal and soda-lime glass, heat-resistant household glass made of borosilicate glass under the SIMAX brand, glass and porcelain under the Krautheim & Adelberg brand, as well as technical glass and laboratory glass. Production is carried out by partner companies, in particular the sister company Kavalierglass in Sázava (Czech Republic), which, with a melting capacity of over 220 tonnes of glass per day, is one of the world's largest producers of borosilicate glass. In the technical glass sector, Bohemia Cristal supplies renowned manufacturers of coffee machines with glass carafes as well as globally known corporations from the chemical, pharmaceutical and mechanical engineering industries. The Selb site offers a warehouse of more than 25,000 m², a 300 m² showroom, a shop and more than 50 employees; the project business covers sourcing, custom packaging and marketing concepts.
