About Bohrbüchsen AG

Bohrbüchsen AG was founded in 1956 and is a Swiss family-owned company based in Heimberg that manufactures standard and special parts for tool and mould making. The portfolio includes standardised drill bushings according to DIN 179, DIN 172 and DIN 173 as well as knurled drill bushings, punch guide bushings, cutting bushings and hole punches according to DIN 9861 C/D. In addition, custom-made products are produced according to drawing for mould, tool and machine construction with component dimensions up to 300 mm. Production includes CNC turning and CNC milling, conventional turning, various grinding processes, honing, hardening, burnishing, laser marking and assembly. All steel grades as well as light and non-ferrous metals are processed; the specialisation is in small to medium series. Around 30 skilled employees supply customers in Switzerland and abroad, including from the automotive and defence industries as well as aircraft construction. As of January 2026, the company will merge with Make AG to form MAKE AG and relocate to Münsingen.
