About Bois RIL
BOIS RIL SA is a Swiss company with over one hundred years of history, based in Granges (Veveyse) in the canton of Fribourg, and according to its own statements the only company in Western Switzerland (Suisse romande) that masters industrial-scale autoclave wood impregnation. The product range includes impregnated construction timber, overhead line poles and products for outdoor facilities such as palisades, posts, fences, privacy and noise barrier walls. Native wood species – spruce, silver fir and oak – are processed and have been certified with the Bois Suisse label (Lignum No. 70-0054) since 2021. In addition to selling finished products, the company offers contract impregnation (toll impregnation) as well as noise protection solutions under the EARA brand, which are distributed through the partner Acouver Isol SA. Customers are private, public and commercial clients throughout the Suisse romande. The impregnated products are offered with a 10-year warranty.

Quality and certification
Bois RIL carries the Lignum quality seal for autoclave impregnation (Iv, P, W, E according to DIN 68800-3) and, since 1 January 2021, has held the Bois Suisse label (No. 70-0054) for spruce, silver fir and oak. The products are regularly tested by EMPA (overhead line poles) and the École supérieure du bois (contract impregnation); the company holds the FOPH approval CHZN3215.
