About Bolsius
Bolsius is a family-run candle manufacturer with a tradition dating back to 1870. Bolsius Deutschland GmbH distributes in Germany and internationally a broad range of pillar candles, dinner candles, tealights, Rustik candles, scented candles, grave lights, Votives & Wax Melts as well as outdoor and Citronella products and the refillable CleanLight systems. The products are designed in the Netherlands and manufactured in European Bolsius production facilities, among other things from natural, vegan wax without palm oil; the classic range uses paraffin, stearin and plant-based waxes. The distribution channels include major retail chains as well as an own online shop; the offering is aimed at retail and end consumers. With the acquisition of Eika Kerzen GmbH (Fulda) in 2013 and the integration of the product range and the EIKA brand in 2015, Bolsius strengthened its position in the German market. As a B Corp certified company, Bolsius places value on sustainable wax blends, recyclable packaging and energy-efficient transport. The fragrances of the collections are sorted into Fresh, Floral, Fruity and Warm and are based on natural extracts.
