About Boltina
Boltina SA is a Swiss manufacturer of handcrafted toiletry products based in Riva San Vitale in the canton of Ticino. Since 1959 the company has been producing combs, hairbrushes and shoehorns, deliberately avoiding highly toxic industrial processes. A traditional comb undergoes up to 20 processing steps, including chamfering, wet and dry tumbling, grinding, brushing and blowing. In addition to series production, Boltina operates the Boltina Art Lab, where one-of-a-kind pieces and custom-made items are created using new materials and techniques. Customers include leading brands in the fashion and beauty industry; the company also distributes its own brands such as Boltina, KROKO by Boltina, YOLO Jewellery and MANTLES & TAILS. All products undergo quality control before delivery and are labelled as Swissmade products.
