Materials and Processes
Unalloyed Steel
Standard material for welding studs and base materials, preferably used in the contact method of capacitor discharge welding.
Stainless Steel
Welded in the contact method onto thin sheets without visible markings on the reverse side.
Zinc-Coated Steel Sheet (15 μ)
Can be welded using the CD contact method without damaging the coating.
Aluminium
Material with a low melting point, preferably used for the gap method of capacitor discharge welding.
Brass
Also suitable for the gap method, provided the workpiece surface is clean and free of coatings.
