Born Stahlbau GmbH, based in Mannheim, offers planning, design, structural engineering, fabrication and assembly of steel construction platforms, portal frames, staircase towers and platforms of all kinds. A focus is placed on steel structures for fully automated logistics areas, where planning and implementation require detailed expertise about the machinery and the entire system. The complete engineering, including structural analysis, is carried out in-house; in addition, the company takes on project management and develops custom special solutions together with the customer. From the initial idea through structural calculation to on-site assembly, the project is handled from a single source. Customers include companies from the architecture and construction sector as well as operators of automated logistics systems.
