About Bornemann GmbH
Bornemann GmbH is an electric machine engineering company based in Duisburg-Rheinhausen that has been repairing electric motors and generators of all kinds, both electrically and mechanically, since 1968. The service portfolio includes the repair and rewinding of DC motors, three-phase motors, synchronous machines, slip-ring rotor motors and rail traction motors, as well as the repair of DC and three-phase generators. Stator and rotor windings in round and profile copper wire are manufactured in-house, so that rewinding can be carried out independently of manufacturers and at short notice. In addition, mechanical work such as turning, milling and welding on shafts and housings, dynamic balancing, gearbox repair, as well as on-site assembly and maintenance work are performed. Customers come from the steel, paper, wood, plastics and stone industries as well as from processing, forming and supply trades. Every repaired machine undergoes a static and dynamic test run on the in-house test stand with a test report before delivery; an emergency service is available around the clock.

Quality & Testing
After the repair has been completed, all machines are statically and dynamically tested on the in-house test stand; the result is recorded in a test report. Electrical and mechanical tests during the repair follow, among others, the VDE regulations (e.g. VDE 0530) and are documented.
