About Borotec
Borotec is a Swiss company for ultra-precision engineering and micromechanics based in St-Blaise in the canton of Neuchâtel. The company manufactures complex individual parts, prototypes and series components on 3- to 5-axis CNC machining centres, including a palletised Hermle C 22 U-PW 150 and a Mazak Integrex i-200. Further processes include CNC turning in small and large series, wire EDM with wire diameters from 0.03 to 0.3 mm, and cylindrical, surface and universal grinding, also for complex angles and contours. Borotec specialises in the machining of carbide and ceramic materials. CAD/CAM programming is carried out with Mastercam 2020 and AlphaCAM 2020; on request, a complete project including 3D design and prototype is developed from drawings or ideas. In addition, the company offers watchmaking toolmaking (movement holders, clamping, measuring and assembly tools), laser engraving, precision clamping technology as well as surface treatments performed as contract work such as hardening, coating, vibratory finishing and micro-polishing.

Quality
Borotec has a new measuring room with a Sylvac Visio 300 V3 optical 3D measuring machine (measuring volume 300 × 200 × 150 mm) as well as several Tesa height gauges. Inspection reports are issued on request; ISO 9001 certification is currently in progress.
