Company History
- 1906
Founded by Angelo Bortolazzi, who emigrated from Verona to Nürtingen in 1898; fields of activity included railway construction as well as earthworks and grading, among others for the new Kreidler factory building in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen.
- 1914–1918
Construction of water pipelines, sewers, elevated reservoirs and river underpasses during the First World War, among others in Mutlangen.
- 1928
After the founder's death, his son Angelo Bortolazzi took over the company headquarters.
- 1933
Relocation of the company headquarters from Nürtingen to Bopfingen.
- 1937
Opening of a quarry in the Röttingen district to supply the company's own road construction sites.
- 1945–1953
New start after the war with a structural and architectural office, commencement of concrete product manufacturing (roof slabs, sidewalk slabs, hollow blocks) and resumption of road construction.
- 1959
After the death of Angelo Bortolazzi, his son Erich Bortolazzi took over management.
- 1967
Construction of a new administration building and repair workshop.
