About boso
BOSCH + SOHN GmbH u. Co. KG, known under the boso brand, has been developing and manufacturing blood pressure monitors for over 130 years. The product range includes digital upper-arm and wrist devices, mechanical aneroid manometers with a corrosion-free precision measuring mechanism, 24-hour long-term monitors, the ABI-system 100 for measuring the ankle-brachial index, as well as fever thermometers and heat-wellness products. In-house production in Jungingen (southern Germany) covers the complete value chain from assembly through adjustment and calibration to final inspection of every single device; millions of units have left the factory. The manometers are overload-proof and equipped with Shock-Protection technology. Plastics are processed for housings and cuffs (latex-free on request), along with microfleece, cotton covers and gold-coated thermometer tips. The products are intended for doctors' practices, clinics and home users and are sold exclusively through the medical trade; exports go to over 70 countries. The boso TM-2430 PC 2 was used by the ESA on the International Space Station for several years.
