Boss Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH & Co. KG sells and produces packaging machines for food and the electronics industry under the Boss Vakuum brand. The portfolio includes chamber vacuum machines as table, floor-standing, double-chamber, vertical and automatic belt machines, vacuum tray sealing machines (tray sealers), semi- and fully automatic tray sealing machines, shrink tanks, shrink tunnels, can sealing machines, tension clippers as well as vacuum bags and ESD barrier bags. The machines are made of stainless steel and are equipped with Busch vacuum pumps; large chamber machines can handle up to 2,000 vacuum bags per hour. For customers with special requirements, custom designs and special constructions are realized. Production takes place in four halls in Herbstein; the headquarters are located in Bad Homburg. Customers include butcheries, fish and poultry processing, gastronomy, retail, farm shops as well as electronics and healthcare companies.
