About Bota Systems
Bota Systems AG is a Swiss robotics technology company and a spin-off of the Robotic Systems Lab at ETH Zurich. The company develops and manufactures high-precision 6-axis force-torque sensors (including MiniONE, MiniONE Pro, Rokubi, SensONE, SensONE T80, LaxONE, MegaONE, PixONE), compact joint torque sensors for robot actuators, 1-axis force sensors, tactile sensing as well as software platforms for Physical AI with haptic teleoperation and kinesthetic training. All sensors are all-in-one devices with integrated electronics, IMU and temperature compensation and are integrated plug-and-play without external evaluation boxes. In addition, robot integration kits for Kinova, Universal Robots, Franka, Stäubli, Meca500 and Kassow Robots are offered, as well as custom sensor development from feasibility study to prototype. The products are fully developed and manufactured in Switzerland and run in over 30 countries, with more than 300 research labs, OEMs and industrial partners. Fields of application are humanoid and collaborative robots, industrial automation, medical robotics, logistics as well as research and Physical AI platforms. The headquarters with development and production is in Zurich; further locations are a branch office in Athens and a Customer Experience Center in Fremont, California.
