About Botree
Botree Recycling Technologies, headquartered in Suzhou (Jiangsu, China), develops end-to-end solutions for recycling critical battery materials. The company offers industrial applications along the entire value chain: mechanical pre-treatment (size reduction), hydrometallurgical recycling, metal separation and purification, through to material regeneration of LFP and NCM cathode materials via direct repair and short-process regeneration. In addition, recycling processes for hydrogen fuel cells and solid-state batteries, a short separation process for laterite nickel ore, and an LCA system approach for EV batteries built to international standards are offered. Skid-mounted integrated plants for leaching, extraction, lithium precipitation and crystallization round out the portfolio. Customers include battery manufacturers, battery operators, automotive manufacturers, energy storage companies and recycling companies worldwide. In 2023, construction began on a battery recycling training center and a 5,000 t/year EU-standard demonstration project in Germany.
