In 2019, bott generated revenue of €144 million with 1,050 employees and fitted out around 55,000 vehicles per year. Customers include vehicle manufacturers such as Mercedes-Benz and IVECO, fleet and leasing companies, trade businesses, industrial and electronics manufacturing as well as educational institutions. The headquarters is located in Gaildorf, Baden-Württemberg.

The bott vario3 vehicle racking system complies with the ECE-R44 standard and is tested in regular crash tests at an impact speed of 50 km/h together with TÜV and the automotive industry; installation is carried out only by bott or certified partners.
