In Germany, the Weiler site (formerly Siltec, acquired by Boyd in 2021) produces custom silicone compounds with advanced in-house compounding, molding, extrusion and finishing, primarily for the highly regulated medical industry. On October 20, 2021, Boyd acquired Siltec, a specialist based in Weiler (Germany) for custom silicone compounds for the regulated medical industry.
Boyd looks back on more than 90 years of company history and more than 40 years of experience in silicone manufacturing as well as over 70 years of rubber/adhesive know-how.
