The pipe systems are externally monitored: material testing is carried out by IMA Materialforschung und Anwendungstechnik GmbH, Dresden, and drinking water hygiene testing by the Hygiene Institute of the Ruhr Area, Gelsenkirchen. BQ grants a limited ten-year warranty on the pipe system.
