Brandt Zwieback-Schokoladen GmbH + Co. KG, based in Hagen, is a family-owned company founded in 1912 that originally started as the Märkische Zwieback- und Keksfabrik in Hagen-Haspe. Today, the portfolio comprises crispbread (Zwieback) as well as innovative chocolate concepts and dragee products developed and manufactured for industry and retail. Crispbread production has taken place at the Ohrdruf plant (Thuringia) since 2002/2003, after manufacturing was relocated there from the parent plant in Hagen. Chocolate products are manufactured in Landshut, where Brandt took over the former “Zugspitze” factory as early as 1940. Through the Schoko-Dragee GmbH in Rhede, acquired in 2014, the company distributes products under the Corifeo brand. Since 2019, the administration has been located again at the traditional site on Enneper Straße in Hagen-Westerbauer. The company is managed by Carl-Heinz and Christoph Brandt.
