This is Bosch – Brewing with Time
Brauerei BOSCH GmbH & Co. KG is an artisanal private brewery in Bad Laasphe in the Wittgenstein region, in existence since 1705. It is the third-oldest brewery in North Rhine-Westphalia and the oldest company in the region; today Hans-Christian Bosch runs the family business in its eleventh generation. Beer is brewed according to the company's own recipes using the traditional decoction mashing process, with natural hops in pellet form instead of hop extract, long maturation periods of up to three months and without pasteurization of the alcoholic beers. The range includes Pils, Brown Ale (Braunbier), Pale Lager, Naturally Cloudy (Naturtrüb), Wheat, Porter, seasonal bock beers as well as non-alcoholic beers, Radler and Faßbrause (soft drink); contract brewing is also offered, e.g. for the Bergmann brewery in Dortmund. Hospitality businesses, beverage retailers, grocery retail, clubs and festivals in the Siegen-Wittgenstein, Marburg-Biedenkopf, Giessen, Hochsauerland, Lahn-Dill and Mainz-Wiesbaden region areas are supplied with the company's own truck fleet. The brewery bears the Slow Brewing seal of quality and has been awarded, among others, DLG gold medals, the European Beer Star and the State Honorary Prize of NRW.
