About the Brewery
Brauerei Clemens Härle KG is a private brewery founded in 1897 in Leutkirch im Allgäu in the district of Ravensburg. The company produces 16 different beer varieties and beer-mix beverages, including Härle Gold, Lager Hell and Härles Feine Weiße as its main revenue drivers, supplemented by trade beer goods, fruit juices and non-alcoholic soft drinks. Since 2008, the organic soft drink "Seezüngle" has been offered in several flavors. The brewery works with regional raw materials: the brewing barley comes from Upper Swabian farmers, the hops from Tettnang (organic hops from the Bentele organic farm), and for organic wheat, Bavarian organic farms are used. According to its own statements, the company has been operating with a CO2-neutral energy concept since 2009, including its vehicle fleet, and sees itself as Germany's first climate-neutral brewery. In 2018, approximately 36,000 hectoliters of beer and soft drinks were brewed; 280 gastronomy businesses in Upper Swabia and the Allgäu as well as beverage retailers are supplied. The keg beer share is 28 percent. The company employs 35 staff and two apprentices and is led by Gottfried Härle and Esther Straub. In addition, the brewery offers festival services and rentals, brewery tours and a home delivery service.
