About Brauerei Greiner
Brauerei Greiner GmbH is a private brewery founded in 1926, headquartered in Roding in the district of Cham in the Upper Palatinate. The company brews bottom-fermented and top-fermented beer varieties in its own brewhouse, including Greiner Hell, Rodinger Weisse, Rodinger Schwarzbier, Anker Pilsner and Festbier. The raw materials include water, hops and yeast; malt has been purchased externally since the closure of the company's own malting plant in 1987. Bottling has been carried out externally in Straubing since 1997, with the finished beer transported there by tanker truck. In addition to its own product range, the brewery offers contract brewing, in particular wheat beer for other breweries, and operates a inn and a brewery collection market at its headquarters.
