About Müller Bräu

Brauerei H. Müller AG is a Swiss family-owned company based in Baden in the canton of Aargau, which operates under the Müller Bräu brand. The company was founded in 1897 by brewer Hans Müller, who took over the former Johann Weber brewery from 1886. Until 2021, the brewery produced its own beers at its Baden site and employed around 50 staff, with an annual beverage turnover of approx. 70'000 hl. In addition to its own Müller Bräu beers, the company also traded around 30 beer varieties from other breweries, around 400 varieties of non-alcoholic beverages and wine. Since 01.01.2022, Müller Bräu has been cooperating with the Falken brewery in Schaffhausen and the beverage wholesaler SCHÜWO; since then, Müller Bräu beers have been brewed under licence by the Falken brewery in Schaffhausen. The Baden site is being transformed into a residential and commercial location, where a brewpub with a 1200-litre brewhouse is planned, in which the Müller Bräu Handcrafted line will also be brewed.
