About Brauerei Hacklberg
The Brauerei Hacklberg looks back on a brewing tradition dating back to 1618 and based on the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. At the Passau and Hutthurm sites, beers are brewed from water, quality brewing barley and hops. The product range also includes non-alcoholic beers and beer specialties that are regularly awarded prizes, including the Finest Beer Selection. The value chain extends from beer production to bottling and logistics, which is handled by Dreiflüsse Getränke- und Logistikcenter GmbH (DGL). In 2012, the brewery took over the Brauerei Innstadt and consolidated the production, sales and logistics of both brands. In addition to the brewery, Hacklberg operates the Bräustüberl in Passau as well as the Bräukeller and the baroque Fürstenbau as event venues for up to 400 guests. In the field of sustainability, a photovoltaic system in Hutthurm generates around one third of the required electricity.
