About us
Brauerei Häberlen is a regional specialty brewery that has been family-owned since 1875 and is today run in the fifth generation. The product range includes the beers Spezial, Dunkel, Zwickl, Edelpils and Christmas beer, brewed strictly in accordance with the German Purity Law of 1516. Attached to the brewery are a beverage retail business with home delivery service as well as an event catering service. 95 percent of the beers are filled in returnable swing-top bottles. In the brewing process, the company relies on environmentally friendly methods: metallized labels and tinfoil are avoided, and during wort boiling an average of 97 percent of the energy is recovered. The production process comprises malting, mashing, lautering, wort boiling, whirlpool, yeast pitching, fermentation cellar and storage cellar through to the bottle filling plant.
