About Brauerei Michael
Brauerei Hermann Michael e.K. is a private brewery in Bad Weißenstadt am See in the Fichtelgebirge that has been brewing in accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law since 1906. Production today takes place exclusively in the small brewhouse of the on-site beer workshop, where craft-brewed beer varieties such as Weißenstädter Seezauber, Original Michael Pils and Schwarze Madonna are created. Core offerings include contract brewing (contract batch) for private and business customers, in which custom beers from Pilsner to historic Märzen to Doppelbock are filled in kegs or individually labeled bottles — for example as a corporate gift with the company's own logo. In addition, the brewery offers beer brewing courses for beginners and advanced brewers as well as beer seminars with raw material knowledge, sensory training and tastings. The beverage market formerly operated in the brewery yard is permanently closed; sales take place by appointment as well as through local outlets such as the Kurzentrum Weißenstadt and the Siebenquell.
