About Brauerei Rittmayer
Brauerei Rittmayer Hallerndorf GmbH & Co. KG is a family-run brewery with roots dating back to 1422 and counts among the oldest breweries in Germany. At its Hallerndorf site, the company has been operating a modern bottling centre for contract bottling since 2000 with an annual capacity of around 100,000 hectolitres, making it one of the largest service bottling operations for beer in Upper Franconia. Filtered and unfiltered, top-fermented and bottom-fermented beers are bottled in ten bottle shapes with swing-top closures or crown caps, and since May 2023 also canned in five sizes. A Krones Craftmate C system with 12,000 cans per hour and a minimum batch of 15 hl is used for can filling. Customers include smaller private breweries such as Roppelt, Hennemann and Pfister, as well as more distant breweries. The range of services covers beer intake, quality control, labelling, palletising, film wrapping, storage capacity, and support with logistics, returnable containers, closures and DPG registration.
