About Brauerei Zwönitz

Brauerei Zwönitz is a family-owned private brewery in the Saxon Erzgebirge. Since 1997, Zwönitz beer specialities have been brewed here according to old traditions, including classics, characterful beers and strictly limited vintage beers. The so-called Zwönitz Gourmet Beers are brewed only once a year in limited quantities and mature for several months after the brewing process in barrique barrels previously used for whisky, rum or wine. In addition to the brewery, the company includes a distillery for spirits such as beer brandy and whisky egg liqueur, a lemonade production facility with vintage-style soft drinks, an inn serving Erzgebirge cuisine, a guesthouse, and a delicacy manufactory with shop. Brewery tours, beer seminars, distilling courses and an event service are also offered. The owner and master brewer is Dominik Naumann, who has been running the company since 2011.
