About BRAUN Aufzüge
BRAUN Aufzüge is an elevator company based in Zierenberg near Kassel that plans, designs, produces, installs and services complete elevator systems. Since 2004, the in-house designed systems have been produced and marketed by BRAUN Aufzugtechnik GmbH & Co. KG at the Zierenberg site. On a production hall area of approx. 1,500 m², the company manufactures the entire hoistway steelwork (load-bearing and safety frames, counterweight and drive frames, guide rail brackets), cabins for passenger, hospital (bed), freight and glass elevators, hoistway scaffolding, hoistway door sills and portals, control panels, as well as the complete electrical installation including controls. CNC-controlled production includes laser cutting (4 kW, 2 x 4 m), high-definition plasma cutting and CNC press brake bending; the machines and the design office are interconnected via a unified software platform. Great importance is placed on extensive pre-assembly of all steel and sheet-metal assemblies as well as the kitting of cables and electronic assemblies, so that installation can follow the plug-and-play principle. Reference projects include universities, clinics, railway stations, administrative buildings and Ro-Ro ships.
