Mold Making with System since 1977
Braunform GmbH, headquartered in Bahlingen am Kaiserstuhl (Baden-Württemberg), is a family-owned company with 370 employees that has been active in plastics mold making since 1977. The company develops, designs and manufactures customized injection molding tools in lot size 1 – including multi-component molds, multi-cavity molds, stack molds and the modular Flexible Molds system. At its second site in Endingen, plastic is injection molded in GMP C + D cleanrooms: on more than 20 machines with clamping forces of 650 to 5,000 kN, complemented by aluminum and rubber die cutting as well as automated assembly for complete pharmaceutical solutions. The entire value chain is covered, from simulation-supported product and tool development (DFM) through manufacturing, validation and small series in the Technology Center to maintenance, repair and spare parts service. Customers come from the pharmaceutical, medical technology, personal care, irrigation technology, consumer goods, electrical, automotive and packaging industries. With its own products such as the DoubleA-Cap® closure cap for infusion containers, Braunform also serves the pharmaceutical industry.

Quality and Certification
Quality assurance is structured in two levels: employees carry out in-house self-inspections on their own responsibility; in addition, the central quality assurance department measures steel and plastic parts using state-of-the-art measuring technology. Tools undergo functional testing, dry cycling, tool FMEA and validation up to FAT.
