About the Buss Industriepark

Bredella AG, operating under the Buss Industriepark brand, runs a historic industrial site in Pratteln in the canton of Basel-Landschaft, right next to Pratteln railway station. The site traces back to Albert Buss & Cie., founded in 1893, a steel construction company that created works including the Mittlere Brücke in Basel and steel elements for the power stations of Rheinfelden, Augst and Kembs. Since 2025, the Buss Industriepark has belonged to Cham Swiss Properties. On 1 January 2001, Hermann Alexander Beyeler took over the previously fragmented site and developed it with a holistic concept, including energy-efficiency renovations, the new construction of the ANAXO building, and the CERES Living and CERES Tower projects. Today, the Buss Industriepark counts almost 100 tenants with more than 1100 employees on the site. Bredella AG rents out office and commercial space and offers tenants a service package with reception, telephone switchboard, mail service, cleaning, high-bay warehouse, caretaking, security service and electric charging stations.

1. 1893

   Founding of Albert Buss & Cie., steel construction company in Pratteln (among others the Mittlere Brücke in Basel, platform halls, power station elements)

2. 1979

   Georg Fischer AG acquires 58% of the Buss shares

3. 1990

   Georg Fischer AG holds 93% of the shares; division and sale of the business units

4. 2001

   Hermann Alexander Beyeler takes over the Buss Industriepark on 1 January and develops it holistically

5. 2018

   Anniversary celebration of 125 years of Buss Industriepark

6. 2022

   Jan Tanner is on site as managing director

7. 2025
