About Breitsamer Honig
Breitsamer + Ulrich GmbH & Co. KG, based in Munich, is a German importer, filler and distributor of honey. The Bavarian family business, now in its third generation, fills a range of honey specialties extending from the Bavarian Schmankerl through classic and Fairtrade honeys to honey in dispensers, honey sticks and buffet dispensers for large-scale consumers. All honeys are subject to the company's own quality criteria, which are stricter than those of the German Honey Ordinance, with transparent origin labeling and varietal purity. Filling takes place at the Fürth and Markt Erlbach sites, the latter with its own laboratory; in addition, there is a cooperation with Bienenwirtschaft Meißen GmbH. The company also fills products under the Feinkost Käfer name under license and distributes its products through its own online shop. The corporate group includes, among others, Immenhof Naturprodukte Hans Breitsamer KG, Ulis Honigmarkt GmbH, the Erlbacher Honighaus, ErlFood GmbH and Bienenwirtschaft Meißen GmbH. Today, Breitsamer is the second-largest German honey filler.
