About us
Bremer Holzwerke GmbH is a medium-sized company based in Bremen's timber harbour and has been active in the timber and building materials trade since 1889. The product range includes in-house produced mouldings such as façade profiles, bevelboards, planed-square-edge boards and round profiles in Nordic lengths as well as imported wood-based materials: OSB 3, plywood (including Metsä Spruce, Elliottis Pine, film-faced plywood), DURACOM® HPL panels, garden timbers such as Bangkirai and tropical hardwoods. In its own planing mill, sawn timber from Nordic countries is further processed using CNC precision planing technology; surface finishing takes place in the company's own painting line using vacuum technology with infrared curing. Optoelectronic grading supports quality assurance. Procurement is carried out in accordance with the EU Timber Regulation (EUTR) and according to PEFC and FSC® standards. In addition to the production site in Bremen, the company maintains purchasing offices in Shanghai and Riga; sales are conducted nationally and internationally with field staff and partner forwarding companies. Under the Diamond Garden® brand, garden furniture made from weather-resistant material combinations is also offered.
