About us

Bremer Stahl Service GmbH is an independent steel specialist based in Bremen that supplies steel products and specialises in further processing. The product range includes heavy plate and quarto plate (thickness 6–300 mm, width up to 3,500 mm, length up to 16,000 mm), bar steel, special profiles, rails for track construction and cranes as well as fork carriers, forklift mast profiles and roller bearings for conveying technology. In shipbuilding, shipbuilding plates from 5 to 100 mm thickness in grades Grad A, D36 and E36 as well as bulb flat steel with GL/DNV and LR certification are offered. The in-house processing includes mechanical cutting (sawing up to 800 mm), thermal cutting by oxy-fuel, laser and plasma, deburring and chamfering, weld seam preparation, press braking as well as blasting and preservation. Particular strengths are high-strength and special grades, special profiles and dimensions as well as customised processing to drawing. Customers come from shipbuilding, conveying technology, crane construction, steel construction and mechanical engineering.
