Technology for Grinding Bodies
AMNI is a business division of BREUER GmbH & Co. KG in Solingen, specialised in machines for the machining and testing of grinding wheels and grinding bodies. The product range includes vertical turning centers (DBV) and horizontal lathes (DB) in conventional and CNC versions, facing machines for machining the flat face, face grinding machines and pack grinding machines for cylindrical grinding of several grinding bodies to defined outside diameters. Speed testers and hardness testers complement the range. AMNI also manufactures spare parts according to drawing or sample, overhauls and upgrades existing machines and carries out retrofits with new CNC controls. Control and switchgear construction is carried out together with a specialised partner. Drawings and bills of materials are available for almost all machines built since 1958, so that machines from the 1960s and 1970s can still be supplied. Target industries are the grinding wheel and grinding body industry as well as general mechanical engineering.
