About brima Model Railway Systems Construction
Since 1993, brima Modellanlagenbau GmbH has been manufacturing individual professional model railway systems in H0 scale for private customers as well as publicly accessible display systems. In an 800 m² specialized workshop with a hall, retail store, and offices in Gau-Algesheim, systems are completely manufactured in one go—from planning and design, through rough construction, track laying, wiring, and PC control, all the way to landscape design and commissioning. The basic frame is created using open frame construction from numerous cut plywood trusses and runners; artificial structures, bridges, and tunnels are made from wood and acrylic glass, among other materials. Over 500 delivered model railway systems are now in 26 countries; references include the 367 m² Märklin H0 display system at the H.-P. Porsche TraumWerk, the 586 m² Grandmaket display system in St. Petersburg, and the Modellbahnzauber display system in Friedrichstadt. Additionally, brima offers seminars, on-site assistance, and its own product line in the brima Shop.
