About BroaMan
Broadcast Manufactur GmbH (BroaMan) is a Munich-based manufacturer of fiber-optic infrastructure systems for broadcast-quality video, audio and data. The company produces media converters for signal conversion to and from fiber optics, routers based on a powerful Super-FPGA that are configured and compiled application-specifically, and passive multiplexers for combining and separating different wavelengths using prisms and filters. The portfolio includes custom system solutions as well as standard devices such as Mux22 and Repeat48, including systems for 12G-SDI video transport (Mux22-12G, Repeat48-12G, Repeat48WDM-12G). Fields of application include broadcast studios and OB vans, live events, sports venues, theaters, exhibition centers, campus networks and command centers. With over 25 years of experience in building fiber-optic infrastructures, BroaMan builds on its sister company Optocore, whose products are in use at ClearCom, DiGiCo and RTS, among others. In addition to customized systems according to customer requirements, standard devices for simple point-to-point connections are offered.
