About BRÖHL
BRÖHL Offshore- und Marinetechnik GmbH is a traditional mechanical engineering company based in Brohl am Rhein between Bonn and Koblenz. Since 1885, the company has manufactured heavy engineering equipment, today focusing on heavy-duty winches, deck machinery, dredger winches, offshore equipment as well as maritime installations such as ship lift systems, transfer systems and dry dock equipment. The products are built as robust, compact welded steel constructions, among others from structural steel S355J2G3 and S235JRG2, quality steel C45N and 42CrMo4V, high-alloy steel and stainless steel AISI 316. Manufacturing includes machining on CNC flat-plate boring mills (up to 60 t, 10 m × 4 m) and CNC gear cutting machines (up to 12 t, Ø5000 mm, module 30) as well as heavy-duty assembly in a hall with a 100-tonne crane. In addition to manufacturing, BRÖHL offers consulting, engineering, assembly, commissioning and worldwide after-sales service. Customers come from ocean shipping, the offshore industry, the excavation/dredging industry, shipyards, navies as well as heavy and civil engineering.
