Company
Brohlburg Dämmstoff- und Recyclingwerke GmbH & Co. KG is a family business founded in 1999 in Andernach and a specialised manufacturer of insulation materials made from EPS (Styropor) and Titan EPS. The product range includes insulation boards for facades (ETICS/WDV), rafter-level, pitched and flat roofs, cellar ceilings, impact sound insulation, perimeter applications and floor insulation – partly with biomass-balanced raw materials (Green EPS), with NEOPOR or elastified EPS (EPSe). Since 2014, only the flame retardant Polymer-FR has been used. The company offers a full service ranging from just-in-time delivery directly to the construction site and pitched roof/roof planning to EPS take-back and recycling, including HBCD-containing material from demolition and deconstruction via its partner FZ Recycling. Brohlburg is EMAS-certified, a founding member of the PolyStyrene-Loop recycling project (today a 33% stake) and since 2024 has operated a pilot plant for dissolving (re-oiling) EPS with adherences and flame retardants. Customers are trades businesses, distributors, construction companies and industrial partners in the construction sector.
