About BROKO GmbH
BROKO GmbH, based in Unterschleißheim near Munich, has been developing and marketing modular, radio-based safety controls since 1994 for the safe operation of extract air systems in conjunction with firing installations. The BL220 product system comprises radio extract air safety switches with window contact switches, radio pressure monitors (differential pressure sensors) for natural draft and pellet stoves, radio temperature sensors, receiver and transmitter modules, cable versions and CO/smoke detectors. Applications include (de)centralised controlled residential ventilation systems (KWL), cooker hoods, downdraft extractors/cooktop ventilators and bathroom/WC fans. Signal transmission throughout the house is by radio, which reduces costs compared with cable installations; cable versions are available as an alternative. The complete safety system carries the general building authority approval of the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt); the cable versions BL100K/BL100Ki are TÜV-tested. In addition, BROKO offers consultation and support via hotline, e-mail and WhatsApp, connection aids for devices from common manufacturers, referral of local stove builders, and returns processing. Products are developed in Germany and manufactured in the EU.
