About BROSA
BROSA GmbH, headquartered in Tettnang on Lake Constance, has been developing and manufacturing force sensors, pressure transducers and systems for load and pressure measurement for safety-critical applications since 1935. The product range includes force measuring pins, force measuring shackles, force measuring rings, load cells, support force and bearing force transducers, angle sensors as well as weighing and overload electronics. The sensors are made of stainless steel and fine-grained steel and are custom-adapted to the respective installation situation using strain gauge technology or MEMS design concepts. With an in-house manufacturing depth of over 95 percent, machining is carried out on modern machining centers, and calibration up to a measuring range of 10 MN is performed on in-house calibration presses. The electronic components are developed and produced by the subsidiary BROSAtronic AG in Rüthi, Switzerland. Customer industries include offshore and marine, construction, container handling, crane technology and mechanical engineering. The medium-sized family business employs well over 100 people and has sales offices in the Netherlands, Singapore and China.
