Expertise in Film Stretching Technology
Brückner Maschinenbau GmbH has been developing and manufacturing production lines for the biaxial stretching of plastic films since 1960. The portfolio includes lines for BOPP, BOPET, BOPA and BOPE packaging films as well as special lines for battery separator films (BSF), capacitor films (BOPP-C), current collector films (CCCF), optical films and high-temperature applications with polymers such as polyimide, PTFE and PEEK. In terms of process technology, sequential (MDO/TDO) and simultaneous biaxial stretching technology (LISIM®), monoaxial stretching as well as extrusion with single-screw, twin-screw and cascade extruders are offered. The offering is complemented by a technology centre in Siegsdorf with a multilayer laboratory extrusion line, the KARO® 5.0 laboratory stretching frame, a pilot line as well as a chemistry and film laboratory, the digital platform Brückner ONE®, plus service, upgrades and retrofits via Brückner Servtec. The lines are used to manufacture packaging and technical films for applications in the packaging industry, e-mobility, energy storage, electronics, renewable energies, automotive, medical technology and aerospace. The headquarters are located in Siegsdorf (Bavaria), complemented by international sales and service locations and a network of around 1,150 suppliers with a purchasing volume of €450 million.
