About us
BRUMA Schraub- und Drehtechnik GmbH, based in Velbert, specializes in customer-specific fasteners: special screws made to drawing, turned parts, nuts and cold extrusion parts made of plastic or metal, as well as standard parts according to DIN. Production ranges from cold working and multi-stage forming processes (cold extrusion) to turning and thermal processes such as hardening, quenching and tempering; additionally, plastic coating, Tuflok® coating, weld screws and assembly of subassemblies are offered. In the service area, parts with diameters from 1.5 to 14 mm and lengths up to 200 mm are sorted on sorting machines with eddy current testing and camera systems and subjected to 100% inspection. Over 2,000 m² of hall space in Velbert is used for warehousing, stock management and just-in-time delivery; prototypes and small series can be requested via the online manufacturing platform Bossard RMS (CNC milling and turning). Customers come mainly from the automotive, electrical, fittings, and lock and hardware industries. The company belongs to the Bossard Group and is its competence center for drawing parts within the German network.
