About us

Brumund Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG is a medium-sized family business with over 100 years of history and the business divisions of drop forging, welding fabrication/mechanical engineering and agricultural technology. In the drop forge, components made of alloyed and unalloyed steels are produced on three drop forging hammers up to 5 mt; individual weights range from 5 g to 8 kg with forgeable lengths up to 800 mm. The welding fabrication department produces components of all kinds, with a focus on screw conveyors as well as components for cranes and wind turbines, made of steels with a yield strength of up to 960 N/mm² (in individual cases 1,200 N/mm²). In the area of contract work, services offered include laser cutting up to 20 x 3,000 x 8,000 mm, bending with 800 tonnes of pressing force, rolling, sawing, drilling, blasting and painting. For agricultural technology, slurry storage and water tanks made of galvanised, corrosion-resistant sheet metal with volumes of up to 4,000 m³ are produced, as well as manure removal systems. Customers are primarily the automotive and crane industries, agricultural technology and operators of wind turbines.
