About us

The company Brune, founded in 1926 (today Brune Bestattungsbedarf GmbH / Brune Vollholz Bispingen oHG), supplies funeral directors with coffins, urns and mortuary articles. After its founding in Letzlingen near Magdeburg and a sawmill phase, the company relocated its coffin production to the Lüneburg Heath; since 2006 the focus has been on sales and finishing of raw coffins. At the facility in Schneverdingen-Heber, raw coffins are given individual carvings and surface finishes. An in-house painting line enables rapid implementation of customers' colour requests, with predominantly environmentally friendly water-based stains and paints being used. The product range includes coffins made of oak and pine as well as other woods, creative and exclusive models, special sizes, urns made of metal and wood, as well as coffin sets and burial garments. Delivery is made in the northern German region, to Berlin and Mecklenburg with the company's own truck, and beyond that by forwarding agents.
