About Brunnbauer Armaturen
Brunnbauer-Armaturen Produktionsgesellschaft m.b.H. manufactures and distributes steel piping valves according to EN or ANSI standards, including globe valves, check valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, check flap valves, LESER safety valves, ball valves, pressure reducing valves, rupture discs as well as special valves for gas technology, steam reducing stations and oil and gas tanks. Materials are selected depending on the operating medium, pressure and temperature; materials used include steel, stainless steel, duplex steels, alloyed steels and low temperature carbon steel (LCB). In-house production of around 1,500 valves per year takes place at the Budapest plant; drilling, turning and milling work as well as assembly and special work complement the value chain. The Vienna headquarters bundles expertise, sales, an extensive warehouse, test benches as well as repair and refurbishment services. The subsidiary Brunnbauer-Moravia s.r.o. in Uherské Hradiště produces for and serves the Czech and Slovak markets. The products are used in power plants, chemical and petrochemical plants, oil and gas facilities, water supply, hydroelectric power plants, biogas plants, paper mills, the food industry and shipbuilding.

Materials and Processes
Steel according to EN/ANSI standards
Base material for globe valves, gate valves and ball valves for piping valves according to EN or ANSI standards.
Stainless steel
Used in chemical and petrochemical plants with corrosive media, including throttle and ball valves.
Duplex steel
For highly stressed valves such as high-pressure angle valves in chemical plants (pressure up to PN 320).
Alloyed steel
For valves subjected to high pressure and high temperatures in power plant construction.
Low temperature carbon steel (LCB)
For gate and flap valves in oil and gas plants at low operating temperatures.
Drilling, turning, milling
Machining of valve components in in-house production.
Assembly and testing
Assembly of valves in Budapest as well as testing on own test benches in Vienna.
